Senior High School students, and university and other tertiary students.
SHS students would meet in circles with one lead mentor, two near-peer mentors and eight mentees.
Tertiary students would be matched with a professional mentor. Monthly specialist masterclasses are planned for the whole group.
Most mentoring is planned online, with a meet-up each term at partner venues in Kumasi, so travel need not be a barrier.
Each mentee would finish with a practical Life Plan. A Certificate of Completion is planned after the mentoring year.
The proposed programme is free for SHS students. Tertiary students may pay an optional token fee; waivers are planned with no questions asked.
Mentors would be people aged 18 or over, above SHS level, who can give 3 to 5 hours a month for a year. Vetting and training would be required before meeting students.
